Jessica, a native of Arkansas, has a lifelong passion for animal welfare. Growing up, she devoted herself to the care of her diverse range of pets, which included dogs, cats, and other exotic animals. She also participated in horse shows almost every weekend. After graduating from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Jessica became a licensed registered nurse in 2011. For the next ten years, she pursued a career in nursing while simultaneously caring for her pets and fostering puppies for a local rescue organization.
In 2021, Jessica made the decision to pursue a career change and transition to working with animals full-time. She completed a rigorous six-week dog training instructor program with Petco and began working independently as a dog trainer in January 2022. Seeking more creative freedom and the opportunity to provide personalized training programs, Jessica joined the Pawsh Park team in June of the same year.
Jessica resides in Conway and enjoys spending her leisure time playing video games, camping, hiking, and spending time with her family and beloved pets. She is passionate about all breeds of big, slobbery dogs, with a particular fondness for Newfoundlands.
She brings a wealth of experience to the Pawsh Park team, making her an invaluable asset to our organization. As a trained and licensed registered nurse, Jessica developed exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that she now applies to her work with dogs and their owners. Her extensive background in animal care, combined with her passion for animals, has made her a natural leader at Pawsh Park.
Jessica has had great success training pups at Pawsh Park, earning her the reputation of a skilled and effective dog trainer. Her ability to develop custom training programs for each dog and their owner has allowed her to achieve impressive results in a short amount of time. Jessica’s dedication to her craft, coupled with her love for animals, has helped her to establish strong relationships with both her clients and their dogs.
